You must have ‘Cytus’, a fast paced finger tapping music game

We all love music, different genres maybe but most of us do and there are some very interesting music based games out there in the market and the latest addition to this genre is Rayark Game studio’s Cytus, a fast paced finger tapping music game.

Cytus might put off some players if they are not familiar with these types of games but the in-game tutorial does a pretty good job to get you started and ofcourse the first few songs are easy. The fun begins once you have mastered the game or if you are already a Pro at these games. Cytus gets tenser as you unlock more songs and when you choose a faster song, there is an immense feeling of achievement when you hit the right notes and the song goes smoothly just like a musician would feel. Rayark games have built the game from top down, unlike other games which seem to be ported from other consoles, Cytus is specially build for the touch platform, and hence it plays really well. The UI looks amazing and with some well selected playlists one would generally overlook the fact that there is a horizantal line which keeps moving like a windshield viper and is used to sync with the buttons that appear.

The characters and props are done in 3D, hence even though its a side scrolling game there is a isometric feel to it.

In Bertil Horberg’s Gunman Clive, there seems to be no checkpoints, which basically means each time you die you restart that level, but this brings back the nostalgia of arcade gaming, unlike games now-a-days where we have checkpoints after every mob we encounter. The goal of Gunman Clive is to save the damsel in distress who is show at the beginning of the game, where she cries for help while being abducted in stagecoach. While you clear multiple levels, Read More
